Invisalign in Columbia

Invisalign is a comfortable, discreet orthodontic treatment for adults. The removable aligners move your teeth into the desired position by changing your trays out every two weeks. Dr. Hamid Ghorbani is an Invisalign certified provider, offering them right here at Oak Hall Dental.

Who Is an Ideal Candidate?

Adults who are reluctant to wear braces find that Invisalign is a great alternative. Dr. Ghorbani will first need to screen your teeth and gums to ensure they’re healthy. During your consultation, we’ll discuss the estimated time frame and whether Invisalign is right for you.

Benefits of Invisalign

Since there are no fixed metal brackets or wires, Invisalign is

  • A more comfortable orthodontic option
  • Practically invisible to other people
  • Easy to clean and care for
  • Removable, so you can eat whatever you want
  • Digitally mapped for extreme accuracy
  • Typically more efficient than traditional braces

What to Expect

During your initial Invisalign consultation, we’ll evaluate your teeth and take a series of impressions for the lab. Then we’ll have you come back for a treatment plan review, where you can see a digital simulation of what your end results will look like. At this time, we’ll know how many aligners will be needed and the length of treatment required.

You’ll want to wear your aligners for at least 22-23 hours a day, and change them out as directed. We’ll visit you every six weeks (after every third set of trays) to monitor your progress.

After your Invisalign treatment is complete, Dr. Ghorbani will fit you with a retainer to help preserve your new smile’s alignment.
