Your First Visit

As a multi-generational family dental practice, Oak Hall Dental offers services to patients of all ages. Here’s what you can expect when you arrive for your first appointment.

Medical History

Please download and complete your new patient medical forms prior to your appointment. Or arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill them out at our office. Please include a list of any medications you’re taking.

Emergency Appointments

Many of our new patients are here for same-day emergency care. We’ll get you seated, take any X-rays that are needed, and then go over a treatment plan to address your concerns. Our goal is to get you out of pain as quickly as possible. Depending on the treatment you prefer, we may perform that service on the same day.

Checkups and Cleanings

Are you due for a cleaning and exam? We’ll schedule you with our hygienist to take X-rays, review your dental health, and perform a healthy mouth cleaning. If you have active gum disease or need a deep cleaning, we may need to reschedule it to a second appointment. Then one of our dentist will check your teeth and develop a treatment plan based on your preferences and oral health goals. Most of these visits last about a half-hour.

Insurance and Financing

Be sure to bring a copy of your insurance card with you to your appointment. Our treatment coordinators will verify your coverage, so that you know what benefits are available. In most cases, we will check everything with your insurance before you arrive.

In addition to being an in-network provider, we also offer an in-house membership plan for our patients without dental insurance. Members receive all cleanings, exams and necessary X-rays, as well as a discount on other services.

Flexible financing plans are available on all treatments, from Invisalign to dental implants and everything between.
